Dr. Marie Y. Lemelle, PhD, founded Platinum Star Public Relations, Inc. in 2000, establishing it as a leading minority woman-owned business in Glendale, California. She is also the CEO/Founder of Angel City Salute Alliance, Inc., a nonprofit honoring significant contributions to Los Angeles, and received the U.S. Presidential Lifetime Volunteer Achievement Award in 2024 for her work with vulnerable populations. Dr. Lemelle serves on the boards of the California, Arizona, and Ghana Economic Clubs. She was named Global PR Personality of the Year at the 3rd Annual Afro Awards in October 2024 and appointed an international Goodwill Ambassador by the DreamChild Foundation. Certified as a speaker by JT Foxx, she empowers communities to achieve their goals. Dr. Lemelle holds an MBA from the University of La Verne and several advanced theological degrees, including a PhD.
